Project Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T) Master Plan
Tucson International Airport TUS - or simply TIA is the Arizona's State second-largest airport and is getting recognition for its on-time performance services. With three runways, and an estimated 3.7 million passengers in 2011, Tucson International Airport is an economical alternative to Sky Harbor Airport. Several major and low-cost airlines currently serve the airport, providing nonstop service to major US cities with connections around the world.
Project Description
Tucson Airport Authority (TAA) conducted an IT&T Master Plan for the Tucson International Airport. JWG personnel served leading roles and developed this IT&T Master Plan. The Plan addressed the requirements of the TAA, its tenants, and the traveling public and served as a clear road map toward meeting the TAA IT and business goals. The Plan included review and analysis of current IT systems, development of a physical infrastructure conceptual design, IT staffing analysis and IT governance, analysis of operational wireless (450 MHz and 800 MHz) requirements, development of unlicensed wireless policy, development of an implementation plan. The following IT systems were included in the analysis: Electronic Visual Information Display System (EVIDS), Fire Alarm System, Terminal Public Paging System, Parking Revenue Control System (PARCS), Access Control System (ACS), Security Alarms, Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV), Digital Voice Recording and Logging System, Communications Dispatch Consoles, Financial Management System, Lightning Detection System, Weather Monitoring System, and Community Antenna Television (CATV) System.
